by Gary Lee
When: Thursday, February 16 at 4 PM (90 minutes)
Where: New Jersey City University, Jersey City, NJ (room TBA  message Gary at Gary@leeguitarworks.com)

Guitar maker Gary Lee is giving a workshop designed for professional guitarists, university/conservatory students, and avid amateurs. Free and open to the public.
Among the topics that Gary will cover:

– What controls action and can you improve yours?
– What controls intonation and can you improve yours?
– What structural faults would prevent you from buying a guitar?
– Why is humidity important?
– What do you look for in a good case?
– What should you do when you travel?

\”Over the years working with many professional guitarists, I noticed that the majority know little about how their guitars function, despite spending countless hours with them and depending on them for their livelihood. This presentation was developed to teach players why their guitars work at or below their optimum, how to diagnose problems, and what guitars they should or should not buy. (G.Lee)
