Daniel Moreno is a Brooklyn based classical guitarist with over fifteen years of teaching experience of all musical styles, levels, and age groups in New York City. A distinguished graduate with a Master of Music from the Mannes School of Music, Daniel has graced some of NYC’s most renowned concert halls, including The Americas Society, the Frick Museum, Opera America, and NYC Ethical Society.
His versatile career includes performances as a soloist and in chamber music settings. With a diverse musical background Daniel was immersed in American folk music and rock’n’ roll from a young age, which now informs his dynamic and versatile approach to teaching. He has studied with leading composers and guitarists such as Frederic Hand, Michael Newman, and Renee Izquierdo. He is committed to inspiring and guiding the next generation of musicians drawing on his rich experiences and deep love for music.
