We’re excited to welcome Leonard Gurevich, classical pianist, director, and multidisciplinary artist, to the DalMaestro team!
A laureate of international competitions in Brussels and Moscow, Leonard has performed at top venues including the Moscow Conservatory and Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, and collaborated with major ensembles like the Russian National Orchestra and Bard Conservatory Orchestra under Tan Dun.
Leonard brings a unique blend of music and theater to his teaching. As co-founder of Creative Play, he led workshops for 350+ refugee children in Malaysia, and his original productions blend piano, physical theater, and storytelling.
He holds dual degrees from Bard College & Conservatory, and studied with leading pianists including Gilles Vonsattel and Rieko Aizawa.
Leonard studied with leading pedagogues including Gilles Vonsattel, Rieko Aizawa, and Ruben Muradyan, and participated in masterclasses with Peter Serkin, Rena Shereshevskaya, and Mikhail Voskresensky. He earned dual degrees in Piano Performance and Theater & Performance from Bard College and Bard Conservatory, and he is a recipient of multiple grants, including the Guzik Foundation Grant, the Bard Conservatory Scholarship, and the Special Carter Towbin Prize.
